We are a law firm, and security is a major priority. We have been using LiquidFiles for many years to send and receive large content as well as sensitive data. We are mailing house and need a secure way for data transfer without using a cloud-based solution.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Before liquid files, each user was doing it their own way, using various cloud transfers, we wanted an on-premise solution, so we can ensure we know where all our data is, this is a requirement for GDPR when doing a data map.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are a steel manufacturing company having to send and receive multiple megabytes of files. Email wasn't cutting it. Our FTP server, while capable, was confusing for some of the newbies in the industry. Dropbox while OK, lacked the granular controls we desired. LiquidFiles fits the bill regarding all the items above.

Sending documents larger than email capacity was always a problem. We've used combinations of FTP servers, Dropbox and even snail mail, but cobbling a reliable system together seemed as hard as catching a leaf in a tornado. Enter the leaf, LiquidFiles! As easy as email, with better than FTP controls.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We've been using LiquidFiles for several years now for us to allow our users to easily link files that would otherwise be rejected by mail filters due to size or file type, while being able to determine who exactly has access to the files.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Marketing wants to transfer 20GB worth of videos to an outside vendor? No problem! Set it up, and forget about it until it comes time for license renewal. It's easy for end users to understand, and it doesn't clutter inboxes and send us over queue limits. Other than having to up the storage size, we've never had an issue with it. It just sits back, and does its thing.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are a pharma company. We need to send/received the media content which is huge. We use file transfer and file drop extensively.

Initially we were using 3 party tools which are managed locally and with local user accounts and authentication. File/activity tracking was difficult. With Liquid files, everything is centralized and domain accounts are used for authentication and administrators have the complete visibility. We are using this for the last 5 years.

We are an NGO working in hostile and insecure environment to help refugees and the needy. We need a secure and reliable platform to send media files over unreliable internet connection to our Headquarters and our donors.

Prior to using LiquidFiles, large file transfers were a problem especially in areas with poor internet connection. Now with LiquidFiles, the files can be transferred securely using customised security settings, even over unreliable internet connection to designated recipients only. Savings include courier and travel costs that are no longer required giving us return of investment within months.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We have integrated use of the LiquidFiles Outlook plug-in with our deployment of Office 365 and the stability, flexibility and integration of the product are outstanding. All large files are easily managed by our LiquidFiles server and a log allows easy access to transactions for audit purposes.

We tried to use other 3rd party products for large file sending (MFT) that was much more cumbersome to administer and unreasonably expensive. LiquidFiles is inexpensive, works dependably and the technical support is amazing. The admin (server) interface is great and the features just keep getting better and better..... Our only regret is not having found this product sooner than we did!!

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are a insurance firm that on some occations need to send out and receive large files. These files often contains sensitive information so public cloud services are mostly out of the question. LiquidFiles has solved this problem for us, and also given us some very nice functionallity when it comes to tracking file download, expire files etc.

Before LiquidFiles we relied on ad-hoc solutions on a case by case basis. Not a viable solution in the long term. We looked at multiple options, but found that Liquidfiles met our criteria, at a very reasonable price. Our users are very happy with the solution. The one time we needed support it worked better than most of the other companies I deal with and the whole issue was fixed in 30 minutes!

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
As an accounting firm, we routinely exchange sensitive information with our clients. It is vital that our clients trust who they are dealing with, and this is a vital part of our mission. Self branding and hosting allows the public to feel confident they are dealing with a reputable firm and therefore they do not get confused with other "phishing" attempts. Since we control the server from beginning to end, it resides on our own domain and uses our own green-bar SSL certificate that we also maintain. No more dependence on a 3rd party wildcard SSL cert! We originally setup the virtual appliance through our vCenter cluster, but have since moved it to an AWS EC2 instance. It was the easiest secure messaging deployment I have ever completed.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
We migrated our practice away from using Citrix ShareFile due to the ever-increasing problems with their software, and inability to respond and provide fixes in a timely manner. From the moment I installed a trial license and deployed it to our test users, it was clear that LiquidFiles is light-years ahead of Citrix in terms of features and stability. The (very) few questions I had were (very) quickly answered by polite and professional support staff. Even though the price is lower than Citrix, we feel that we received a product that is far superior. In addition to Citrix ShareFile, I have also used Reflexion's ZIX secure messaging and WatchGuard's XCS appliances. LiquidFiles was - by far - the easiest to deploy and setup.

I've been testing LiquidFiles for about two months. It's amazing how simple the solution is but at the same so powerful. Right now we are implementing the solution to cover the countries where our company has presence in America, which are 17. With LiquidFiles we can have a single application, a single process applicable to all users with less maintenance work to have it running.
It's extremely easy to use, complies with our security standards and what's more important almost no maintenance is required.

Primarily because of an increasing requirement to send all data encrypted and also because our email max size limit cannot accommodate the size of the data set that needs to be sent.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?

  • Excellent logging/recording ability
  • Ease of use - less maintenance with the data
  • Fast and simple - We currently use an FTP service which requires more attention, the self service approach is appreciated by users and admin.
  • It works. Very few issues reported, LiquidFiles support team have been able to answer all our inquiries in a timelay manner.

Our 150 user Civil Engineering firm does business with local, state and federal government and securing file attachments was one of the key requirements for some of the projects we get from these entities. We use LiquidFiles Outlook Plugin as a mandatory component of every workstation and all file transfers have to go through LiquidFiles now, for security, reliability and self space management benefits.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
I've been using LiquidFiles appliance for 3+ years now and I can safely say that it is the most trouble-free software running in our company. Large file transfer, securely, has become a standard in our company since LiquidFiles appliance was introduced. It does what it claims to do and it does it best. Still, the best part about this product is the unparalleled support, extensively tested updates, attention to detail and ease of use. Here are some of the features that I have already used and found extremely useful:

  1. Easy to install and deploy.
  2. Hardly any user training required.

We are using LiquidFiles for sending and receiving files which exceed our 10MB email limit.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
LiquidFiles has been a great discovery for us. On a daily basis we have a need to receive, and sometimes send files larger than 10 MB. Before LiquidFiles, our incoming smtp gateway would accept the email with the large attachment, and the Exchange Server would reject it for size limit. Then, it was a manual process to extract the email and attachment from the smtp gateway for the recipient. Given the 10 MB limit, we also had employees using all kinds of personal File Sharing accounts in order to send and receive what they needed to do their job. IT and employees alike are thrilled with our LiquidFiles solution. Thank You!

We are an advertising agency requiring a simple, easy to use but secure file transfer solution. We have used Mass Transit previously, but it was buggy and insecure. We also have an FTP server, but the administrative overhead was problematic. We bind it to AD and allow internal users access to send externally.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
LiquidFiles has enhanced the ability of our organization to securely transmit large files over the internet. The email validation and ability for end users to set their own security parameters means there is less chance of the default options leading to security holes. This has meant even less use of the FTP server and has enhanced our reputation with our clients.

We have branded and implemented LiquidFiles using LDAP integration and the Outlook Plugin. Additionally, we have configured 2-factor authentication for our administrative users. We have configured filedrops for each of our users to allow them to easily receive attachments from external individuals.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
LiquidFiles has added important functionality that has been missing from our organization. It allows us to send and receive sensitive information and provides very details receipts for downloaded documents. It automatically handles large attachments and makes sending them a much easier task. Setup and configuration was very straightforward, and integration with Outlook and Active Directory was very easy. The Outlook add-in really simplifies the sending of files from inside our organization. We are extremely happy with our choice to purchase LiquidFiles. It has superior functionality to other higher priced file transfer software and appliances. We are also extremely satisfied with the level of support we have received. Any question we have asked (regardless of how trivial) has been promptly answered. If you are looking for functionality similar to that offered by LiquidFiles, I recommend you look no more. How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are a post production facilities. We have been using LiquidFiles over two years now. We need to send audio and video back and forth with our clients and with many freelance. We bought this system and deployed it in our virtual servers cluster environment. Few hours later it was up and running, customized and integrated into our Active Directory Domain with ldap authentication so a group of our employee could immediately login into the system and simply use it. Also our customer now doesn’t need to ask their IT for additional ports opened because it all runs on 80/443, no plugin required so any non admin user can use it.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Before Liquidfile for big files we used our FTP. We had to manually create username/password for each customer but sometime also for each job or project. We had to support our customer because most of the time they were unable to gain access to an FTP server. We had to reset account and manually remove files. We do not want audio/video files to remain on our storage for long time (until we forgot it …). We want to have an easier and better control of the access, expiration, housekeeping and so on, we want to have a system where our producer can manage the 90% of the needs without going to ask for IT support. It all works! Perfectly fit our needs. Now we can share the files and have confirmation that customer has downloaded it. For the remaining 10% of the IT activities I wish to point that LiquidFiles support is one of the best! It’s extremely fast, I always had a response in few minutes, doesn’t matter at which time, day/night or timezone. Supports has always been very keen and I got great cooperation also to find problems that were not depending from FileTransfers itself. I would not hesitate to recommend LiquidFiles as we and our customers are all happy about it.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
LiquidFiles is an inexpensive file share solution that WE control in house in our corporate environment. With the security, legal, and copyright requirements in todays environment we do not utilize third party file sharing or cloud solutions for fear of not knowing the end state of our proprietary information. Also with recent data breaches throughout the world we feel much safer knowing we have control of the files from beginning to end.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
We saw a 15X cost reduction when moving to LiquidFiles from a competitor. Our employees love it, and we love that they're not using a third party service. By using the LDAP connector and single sign on, employees can log in effortlessly and access is controlled by our active directory. We use the API to automatically send files after our scripts run, which is also very useful! Quick story - I've submitted two enhancement requests since purchasing the product. One was introduced in the next version following my request, and the other was introduced about a month later. These guys are amazing, they listen to the customer, and they keep making the product better week after week!

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are an environmental engineering firm that creates large technical reports that require a secure method of delivery to our clients. LiquidFiles has now for many years provided us with this reliable, safe and secure file transfer portal, most importantly that we house on our own servers behind our own firewalls.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Before LiquidFiles, we used an internal FTP site to allow transferring data to and from clients. This created security issues due to numerous users and passwords required, and added a number of steps to the file transfer process. LiquidFiles streamlines file delivery into a single-click process that includes high security and seamless user interface.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
We are saving a large amount of money on removing the need to post or send by courier large files (case notes and medical records). Most important is the speed of delivery compared to post and even compared to cloud based service - the email to the recipient is send within seconds of the request being made (no more upload to cloud BEFORE the file becomes available) and the full traceability gives us better tracking than any courier or post tracking service.

From 1-10, how likely are you to recommend LiquidFiles to a friend, colleague or industry peer? 10

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We use LiquidFiles to share large PDFs and AutoCAD drawings with other firms. It's great because it works over port 443 and 80 and doesn't require plugins to user.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Previously we were using SMB shares over out SonicWALL remote access firewall. This required Java and a username and password, which had a lot of overhead for us in IT. This makes our jobs a lot easier and keeps our clients and users happy because it is faster and much more attractive and professional.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We are a software corporation, and use LiquidFiles for supporting with our customers. Before we had LiquidFiles, we used a FTP-Server instead. But now all traffic and data exchange goes over Liquid Files.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
FTP alternative, and mucht better then that. A perfect solution. The pricing is also more than fair.

From 1-10, how likely are you to recommend LiquidFiles to a friend, colleague or industry peer? 10

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
I'm a small business owner who provides IT services to a handfull of other companies in various markets from healthcare to law to retail, ranging from 3 to 2000+ users. I have rolled out the product at a couple of the larger and smaller sites. This product delivers the goods for all companies, large and small.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
This product provides a way to securely transmit files of all sizes and types between my customers and theirs. It does so without abusing mail servers, and without the need for any special preparation on either end. It just works and my customers are happy.

From 1-10, how likely are you to recommend LiquidFiles to a friend, colleague or industry peer? 9

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We use it to securely send large email attachments to clients which prior to LiquidFiles FTA was done using a mix of SharePoint, FTP, Email each with its own peculiarities and limitations and constant questions from users on when which one was appropriate and how to go about using a particular system that they didn't use regularly.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Once we implemented the LiquidFiles FTA trial we immediately received positive feedback on its ease of use and ability to nicely fill the gap for transferring files simply and securely via email and now hopefully we can retire ftp for good and use SharePoint more for its intended use not as an ftp replacement. Not only would I not hesitate to recommend LiquidFiles but have already sung it's praises repeatedly to others in the field.

From 1-10, how likely are you to recommend LiquidFiles to a friend, colleague or industry peer? 10

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We currently use LiquidFiles as an alternative to FTP for trading files with our design partners. Easy to use, quick to set up, bullet-proof to run. We can honor our NDAs and our client's IP by keeping their files in-house until the last possible moment and provide details on who downloaded the files and from where.

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
Much of our traffic is material that has a shelf-life of a few days as new revisions come out. FTP sites are useful but our security requires restricting access to known client sites, removing the ease of use that LiquidFiles gives. Old files get purged regularly, the appliance cleans up after itself. The update process is well-done and easy to do. Support is rarely needed but I've seen responses (and fixes) with a few hours of asking.

How are you currently using LiquidFiles?
We have been using the liquidfiles over a year now. It has been fantastic. Recently we started using this for the Business Continuity purpose. This means automatic script to upload the file and another script to download in DR centre. We did have some issues in getting this work but it has been sorted out and we are deploying our second liquidfiles. I recommend this product whole heartedly!

How would you describe the benefits for you and your organization?
This replaced SFTP service which was really a pain to manage and run.

I have been very impressed by your speed at replying to requests and with the system in general. This was by far the easiest system to set up and remains one of the easiest to maintain in our infrastructure. Keep up the good work.

I love it when stuff just works!

This product Rocks!

I struggled with a different product for years. I would have dumped it a long time ago if it wasn’t for that 2GB HTTP limitation which restricted my options. Its amazing how many vendors advertise large files but only transfer up to 2GB. Large Files start at 2GB! I wish I had known about LiquidFiles.

Thank you so much...

We deployed LiquidFiles over two years ago, choosing it over other paid, hosted services and have not looked back. First, let's say that the support for this product should be a model for other software developers - easy to access, direct contact, quick response and attentive to specific requests. The interface is simple and clear (even keeping current with browser standards), and can be modified easily enough to closely emulate a corporate web. File uploading and access has very few problems - in fact, our issues usually result from internet anomalies. The application installs and runs without issue every day, and updates are a snap to apply. Thumbs UP on this one!

I have now used the product for just over 1 year. The development is active, and quickly resolves outstanding issues. Support responds quickly and professionally. Feature upgrades are nice, and listens to feedback from users. My end users have found the product to be easy to use. I appreciate that it gets those big files out of the email system. Overall, I highly recommend the product.

This product has been developed with close attention to user needs and has everything from self-registration, to LDAP integration, Filedrop features and on and on. The product has become more and more feature rich with each release and we have found it to be extrememy robust and stable. In the infrequent times we've required support it has always been responsive. A+.

One of the best solutions out there. We had a very expensive (don't wana name it) large file attachment solution and were looking for a replacement, that is more robust. It's in production now for a few weeks, the installation and configuration was very easy. A. To sum it up its an affordable, easy-to-use, solution that is set up real quick and with great support.

One of my customers wanted me to find an easy-to-use replacement for his FTP Server that can be integrated in his e-mail workflow. While searching for and testing various solutions I came across the Secure Filetransfer Appliance. After a few weeks of testing I presented it to my customer and he was more than happy to integrate it in his production environment. Its in production now for a few weeks, the installation and configuration was very easy. Thanks to the Outlook Plugin attachments bigger than 10MB get sent over the Appliance automatically, the user doesn't have to take the decision on how to sent large files. A problem with the HTML link creation got resolved by the support very quickly. To sum it up its an affordable, easy-to-use, solution that is set up real quick and with great support. My customer is hapy and so am I.

We wanted an easy way to send and receive large files as our current FTP solution was proving hassle to maintain for several reasons (configuration of FTP clients, managing files on the FTP server, managing users and passwords etc). The Secure File Transfer Appliance makes sending and recieving files as easy as sending email. We love the fact you can brand the appliance to give that slick professional look and feel. We have also cancelled our hosted FTP service saving us around £800 to £1000 per year. Support is excellent. I would highly recommend this appliance to anyone!

Prior to implementing this appliance we had always e-mailed files to customers, but this always caused problems with their server not accepting because the attachment was too big etc. We still e-mail small files, but for larger files or those which need to be secure is where the appliance scores for us. It's taken a while for some customers to get to grips with, but we're getting there. This is no fault of the appliance! Throughout the last 6 months there have been frequent updates, some adding or improving on features and some correcting minor issues. The developer has always been very quick to respond to support requests and is always willing to listen to new ideas and suggestions. If you need a cost effective and reliable file transfer service then look no further. Also I would highly recommend you look at the Mail Server Appliance which I would give 6 stars if I could.

We evaluated alot of methods for transfering files to and from the company. This was the only one that offered us the control and functions we needed. It is also very affordable. First we got some problems with the Outlook-plugin, this problem was solved within one week and this without any type of "ping-pong" support with questions like test this and test that. I strongly recommend that you at least test this appliance, if you like it you just install the license.

I deployed this about 1 year ago after numerous complaints from our employees about FTP and wanting a replacement. We looked at several alternatives and finally chose this one. It has been a big hit ever since and is heavly used by our product support engineers. It has it's quirks (it is just over a year old now) but overall it works great! The company updates it quite often and includes customer requests when possible.

The cost of this tool compare to the other big name in the market is also unbeatable. Everybody in my company like this product and our clients like it too when we used to transfer large amount of data to them over email and unsecured ftp site. Thanks for the good products! We had been looking for a file transfer system to handle attachments instead of using email and FTP. We had to go without until we found LiquidFiles. Alternate products are way too expensive and overly complicated. The VM installed easily and the documentation is helpful (without all of the marketing and sales hype to swim through). The administration and user interfaces are intuitive and uncluttered. My users and their clients really like it. Tech support is helpful, timely, and on the mark.

This appliance has not only outperformed my expectations, it has solved issues around large file transport that was causing email stress to the system and users. The support of the product is second none and since moving to Version 1.2.1 with the Outlook plugin we have a system that faster, stronger and in the eyes of myself and the users better. There is no other product of this type that I have found that is such a cost effective solution with the outstanding personal support offered. Install - Try -Then Buy. You wont be disappointed.

This is a excellent product for the legal industry for large file transfers. The download of the image took longer than the setup. It took a total of 15-20 minutes to customize the interface with our logo and network settings. This product has saved us a lot of money in shipping CD/DVD media to clients. Heck they even have a free version for 5 users.

Few products on the market exceed my expectations. This product has! I not only delivers exactly what it is designed to do but the forethought that has gone into its ongoing development is as a direct result of the developer listening to the needs and desires of the clients who use it. Like most things, I look at things this way. Money can be made but time can never be recouped. With this appliance I had a return on my investment the very first time I used it. I would proudly suggest this product to anyone who is looking for a seamless and transparent way to transfer large files to an audience that is more business savvy then technically savvy. It takes the technical constraints (that business people don’t care or understand about) and makes it a quick and easy solution that saves people time.
